Dawn Austwick OBE is a leader in the charity and heritage sector, and is best known to us as the CEO of the National Lottery Community Fund - one of JLGBs key funders through the #iwill fund!

Born in Somerset, England, Dawn went on to study in London before working in arts sponsorship and fundraising. From Theatre Manager of the Half Moon Theatre, to project director for the opening of the Tate Modern, Dawn has also been the deputy director at the British Museum, the CEO of the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, which is a leading independent grant-giver in the United Kingdom and then in 2013 was appointed the CEO of the Big Lottery Fund, now known as the National Lottery Community Fund.

Remarkably, Dawn is also the Chair of the Kiln Theatre in London, a Trustee of the London Marathon Charitable Trust, and has previously been a Trustee of the Historical Royal Palaces and Woodlands Trusts. It's no wonder why she was the recipient of an OBE for her incredible work in the arts, heritage and charitable sectors, Dawn is a true leader in British society.

We are delighted she has found the time to join us in this busy period, so Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome tonight’s very special guest, Dawn Austwick OBE!

For 125 years, young Jewish people have been discovering just how brilliant they can be and how they can make the world a better place through JLGB. Whether you're 8 or 18, whatever you want to be, join in and be your best self with us!
