Katie Glass is a world-renowned columnist, feature writer and cultural commentator, and the recipient of the first ever Young Stationer’s Prize in 2014.

London-born and raised, Katie started as a journalist working as a Reporter for the Daily Mail in 2008, before moving on the writing features for the Sunday Times in 2010 - a role she has held for the past decade!

Through this role she has covered stories from Egypt’s only women’s roller-derby team, to the future of cruise lines due to the coronavirus, to the legacy of the Troubles in Northern Ireland and the future of veganism! She even famously chronicled her travels with a former JLGB Virtual guest, Judge Rob Rinder, aboard the Trans-Mongolian train line – which went viral!

Katie is also the founder of The Other Club, a women’s networking and events space seeking to flip the balance of men and women to allow for a wider discussion of woman’s issues and world issues.

A leader in feature writing, Katie has also recorded documentaries, including her latest, which detailed her exploration of her own Jewish identity on finding out her father was Jewish when he passed away. We are very very excited to learn about her journey and her entire career in Journalism.

Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome tonight’s very special guest, Katie Glass!

For 125 years, young Jewish people have been discovering just how brilliant they can be and how they can make the world a better place through JLGB. Whether you're 8 or 18, whatever you want to be, join in and be your best self with us!
