With over twenty-five years of experience in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Mark Regev has played a key role representing the State of Israel.

As the Prime Minister's Advisor and International Spokesperson for over eight years, Ambassador Regev established himself as one of Israel's mosrecognised voices across the English-speaking world.

Ambassador Regev rose through the ranks of Israel's diplomatic corps, serving as Vice Consul in Hong Kong, and then as First Secretary in Beijing. Ambassador Regev went on to serve as Counsellor in Washington, and then as the Spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem.

Ambassador Regev graduated from the University of Melbourne with a BA in Political Science and Modern History. In addition, he holds an MA in Political Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as well as a Master of Science in Management from Boston University. Before joining Israel's Foreign Service, Ambassador Regev lectured on International Relations and Strategy at the Israel Defence Forces' Staff College.

Since 2015, Ambassador Mark Regev has been the Ambassador of Isreel to the Court of St James, and has become an extremely formidable figure in the UK Jewish community. With plans to move on in the summer, we are delighted that Ambassador Regev is here with us this evening to talk about his time as ambassador and what life is like currently in Israel.

For 125 years, young Jewish people have been discovering just how brilliant they can be and how they can make the world a better place through JLGB. Whether you're 8 or 18, whatever you want to be, join in and be your best self with us!
