Colin Andrew Ignatius Peter McFarlane is a British actor and voice actor. He is best known for the character Loeb in two films of Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy, Ulysses in the STARZ television drama series Outlander and as the voice of Bulgy in the children's television series Thomas & Friends.

He was born in London, to Jamaican parents. His father served in the RAF, and the family subsequently moved several times before settling in Lincoln, where McFarlane grew up.

His numerous TV credits include Judge John Deed, Jonathan Creek, Casualty, Death in Paradise, Father Brown and Holby City. He has also appeared in two of the UK's most-watched soap operas Eastenders and coronation street

Younger viewers will know him as Mr Lion from Pepper Pig and mums and dads from the Fast show. He was also the voice of cube in ITVs hit game show, the Cube!

Recently Colin joined us as the Voice of g-d,  alongside 1,200 special guests at JLGBs evolve celebration of Jewish youth volunteering, funded by GPG and with that incredible performance from Craig David!

But most of all, and im sure he’s

proudest achievement he is best know to all of us as the Hold message and Answerphone message everytime you ring JLGB HQ - and who better to hear than his amazing dulcet tones when on hold.
